Photo Terms

These Photo Terms explain how Dino Spirit uses the photo you add to create a personalized canvas. They are part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Who can add a photo

  • Please add a photo only if you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or you have their permission.
  • Photos must be added by an adult. Our store is not meant to be used by children on their own.
  • Only add photos you have the right to use.

What we do with your photo

  • We use it only to create your preview and, if you order, your canvas.
  • Before uploading, your browser looks for the face and usually sends us only a square around it, not the whole photo.
  • To paint your preview, the photo is processed by our AI provider, Google (Gemini API). Under Google's terms for paid API use, Google does not use this content to improve its products.
  • We never sell your photo, and we never use your photo or preview in ads or on our website without your permission.
  • For an order, our print partner receives the final print file of your canvas, not your original photo.

How long we keep it

  • Your uploaded photo is deleted automatically 30 days after you add it.
  • Previews you don't order are deleted after 30 days.
  • For ordered canvases, we keep the artwork and print files for 90 days after your order so we can reprint if anything goes wrong, then delete them.
  • If you give us your email to get more free previews, we keep it until you ask us to remove it. We only send you deals if you tick the box.

Keeping it private

  • Photos are stored on our own secured server, not on a public website.
  • Your preview is shown through a private link that is very hard to guess. Please don't share it if you want to keep it private.

Previews and your canvas

  • Previews are artwork made with AI, so some details can differ from your photo. Our team checks every canvas before printing.
  • Personalized canvases are made just for you, so they can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective. See our Refund Policy.

Your choices

To have your photo, previews or email deleted sooner, email support@dinospirit.com with the email you used or your order number, and we will confirm once they are deleted. In any case, photos are deleted automatically within 30 days.
